Diane Farr

Diane Farr, an American actress is probably best known for her role as Megan Reeves a FBI agent in the television series Numb3rs.

This half Irish and half Italian actress was born and brought up in New York. Farr studied drama and has graduated with a joint B.A from New York’s Stony Brook University and Loughborough University. Before starting her acting career she waited tables at many of the Manhattan restaurants. She also started modeling at the age of twelve. During her freshman year in college (at Stony Brook) she was crowned “Miss New York.”

Farr has worked in the series like “Like Family”, “The Job” and “Rescue Me”. She was relieved to leave “Rescue Me” for “Numb3rs” for personal reasons.

Not only a good actor, she is also a budding author. Her first book was “The Girl Code” was released in 2001. Presently she is working on her second book. She has written for a number of magazines and does that on a regular basis. At some time she as also worked as a counselor and is now also producing a documentary for HBO.

Farr got married to Seung Yong Chung in June 2006. She also has a son with him whom they named Beckett Mancuso Chung after an Irish poet Samuel Becket. And the couple now is expecting twins.
