Diane Farr Embracing Her Unique Identity and Refusing To Be Stereotyped!
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsDiane Farr has got that charismatic charm to her, which instantly lets you know that she is not just another brick in the wall. She stands out from the ordinary, and has a voice that she dares to raise when needed.
Even though the actress has been around for nearly a decade, she hasn’t fallen prey to the juggernaut of blinding fame, and has managed to stand her own and do what she believes in. The sparkle in her eyes says it all, of what a long way she has come, and how proud she is of the identity that she has forged.Over the years, Diane has revealed several facets of her personality to her fans, by foraying into various other forms of media, including a radio show, magazine pieces, and most lately a book written by her.
The radio show was one named ‘Loveline’, on which Diane was a co-host. She used the show as a canvas for her thoughts, and often poked fun at Hollywood and its people, clearly sending home the fact that she wasn’t one of them.
While this might have worked against her in her career, it made her a household name across the country, not for her beauty or the roles she portrayed, but more for the person she really was.
The actress has always exhibited a flair for writing, and has written for magazines like G.Q., Cosmopolitan, and Esquire. On top of it all, she has even written newspaper columns on issues related to motherhood.
Now that’s what we call a multitalented woman!
With her first book, ‘Kissing Outside the Lines’, Diane has trodden upon the controversial topic of interracial weddings, which is still a taboo in many societies. She reveals that the issue is close to her heart, because she has experienced it firsthand, with her marriage to a Korean-American man, Seung Chung.
However, at the end of the day, no matter how many new ventures Diane explores, we will always love her best as an actress! If you agree with us on that, you can watch Numb3rs online or even download the show, to let your screen be illuminated with the unparalleled radiance of this gorgeous star!

Diane Farr, the vivacious star who was seen as Megan Reeves in once popular Numb3rs episodes, has grabbed a guest role once again.
A couple of months ago, she appeared in another crime show, CSI Miami. And with a yet another shot at the same genre, it seems Diane Farr is set to win the title of most professional guest star for crime series.Meanwhile, reports are on that she is not the only guest star roped in for the upcoming Mentalist episode.
Bonnie Somerville of Cashmere Mafia fame and Desperate Housewives’ Kathryn Joosten will be seen sharing screen space in February 2012, when segment is expected to air.
Diane Farr’s caught the attention of the fans through her impeccable performance as FBI behavioral specialist. And I feel she would have continued to enthrall us all had there been some seasons of Numb3rs series.
Her character, Megan Reeves was also the love interest of one the members of the team of criminologists, apart from being a useful hand at crime investigation. Romance served with thrilling action, Megan made up for a perfect tempting character in the crime drama.
In her new guest role, she won’t be seen as a criminologist, but by donning the avatar of a winery owner, she will certainly make her presence felt.
Rumor has it that James Frain from True Blood would also make an appearance in the forthcoming segment.
It seems the Mentalist creative team hasn’t left any scope for show lovers to feel bored. However, success of the episode could be scaled once some spoilers hit the block.
There is no doubt that the main theme would revolve around a dreaded crime. But more important than that will be the nature of crime.
Given the fact that Diane would be a playing a role of a liquor firm owner, it can assumed that her character might end up joining the list of suspects.
Anyway, we would expect her to stand tall even with a character having negative tinge in it. So don’t forget to witness her magic spell on Mentalist!

When we watch an actor portraying a particular character for years, it is difficult to imagine him being anything but that character.
However, the truth is that the actors whom we watch are, at the end of the day, human beings, with normal lives, just like anyone of us.
When an actor talks about his life beyond the glitz and glamour of the industry, it is always intriguing to know more about him.
If the name ‘Rob Morrow’ instantly pops the image of detective Don Eppes from Numb3rs in your mind, then you are probably among all the fans of this handsome hunk, who love to get a Numb3rs download.
And I am sure that you also think of Rob as a man, who always puts his family above his work, and to whom his loved ones stand above all else.
But we couldn’t help wondering whether the real-life Rob is any different from the character we are so used to seeing him portraying on-screen.
Well, it turns out that Rob is just as emotional in his real life as he is on screen. He says that his greatest achievement so far has been his daughter, followed by his marriage.
Hmm… wasn’t it supposed to be the other way round?
Anyway, it’s always sweet to hear a man, who is so well accomplished professionally, speaking well of his personal relationships too.
Rob was hitched to actress Debbon Ayer in 1998, and they have been happily together, ever since.
If that name made you laugh, then you have another surprise coming your way!
But before we get to that, here’s a little explanation for the slower ones of our readers, who can’t quite get the joke- Debbon Ayer, when said together sounds like ‘Debonair’.
The funniest part of the joke is that Rob and Debby decided to carry on this legacy of ‘split names’ while naming their daughter.
Now, since her last name was to be ‘Morrow’, the best option that could come up with was … (any guesses?)
Hmm…you probably guessed it right – they actually named their daughter ‘Tu’.
LOL!

Ridley Scott is Back with Prometheus
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsRidley Scott, the producer of the crime investigation drama Numb3rs and also the director of much appreciated films like Alien and Blade Runner, is coming out with a new film.
To explore his talent, you might want to watch Numb3rs online or perhaps, choose to download the episodes of the same. The new film, titled Prometheus, is again a sci-fi flick! It was earlier said that this one would be a prequel to the 1979 super hit Aliens.
20th Century Fox Studios has the rights of the movie, and they have asked Numbers producer to call the shots. Apparently, Jon Spaihts, the screenwriter, has also been hired to join the team.
Scott has hinted that the movie would be set 30 years prior to Aliens and it would come out in two parts and that too in 3D.
Yay!
Scott said in a recent interview that the movie is going to make you jump out of your skins!
It will be really tough and that is expected, because the directors take us on a tour to the dark side of the moon. There will be engineers of space and Gods.
This movie is going to give us details about the origins of the alien species, which plagued the earlier movie.
Questions such as, were the aliens created as biological weaponry, would be answered in this movie.
The story has gone through a number of different drafts and a female character would most probably play the lead. The movie is promised to have a believable take on the technology shown in it.
You can expect a lot of nearly faster than light travel and terraforming from this one, along with the revelation of a new mysterious race!
Many places from the earlier movies like Zeta 2 Reticuli have also been revived.
Scott has said that Alien was only the starting point of a big story, and there is still so much more to explore in the same universe. The ideas in it are more provocative, unique and large.
Mr. Scott promises us a highly entertaining movie, which will be something to look out for in 2012.
We hope you are right, Mr. Scott!

Watching Numb3rs Is Fun At Its Very Best!
Ah! I must say my days have become much more interesting with the new addition of ‘numbers’ to it.I am not talking in context of my phone, house, credit card, or any other number of identification, but of the CBS television series, Numb3rs.
I was dearly missing the series that I browsed for it over the internet, so that I could watch it as many times as I wished to.
Aha! I am so delighted now.
I start my day with a mug of coffee, with my favorite stars from the series performing before me. If only they could walk out of my computer screen, and join me.
Lol!
But you know what, ever since I have started watching the sixth season, there has started to emerge an unusual restlessness in me.
It’s not that there is something wrong with the series, but it’s the fact that the sixth season might be the show’s last season, something that’s bothering me.
It has been such a magnificent series so far, and I really don’t want it to end.
The surprising part is I reacted the same way when the series originally neared its end in the year 2010.
I have no idea why I feel like I’m watching it for the very first time, even after having watched the complete series once.
A huge applause to the gripping storyline of the show, for always managing to bring back the same freshness and novelty!
Bravo!
I was bowled over in the beginning of this season with the engagement of Charlie Eppes with the mathematician-cum-FBI consultant girlfriend, Amita Ramanujan.
It was so exciting to see them taking their relationship to the next stage, after what has been a wonderful period of togetherness.
Phew! Why am I over-reacting! The series hasn’t ended yet, and even when it does, I’m all up for watching it a third time!
So while I continue watching the series, all those of you, who haven’t downloaded it yet, can go for a Numb3rs download right away!

Judd Hirsch is among those handful of directors and performers who are gifted enough to do justice to a play of the stature of Tony-award winning ‘ART’.
On July 31, Judd starred in and directed ’ART’, written by Yasmina Rezza that ventures deep into the conflicting values of friendship and the weakening of bonds all over a painting. The award-winning comedy required unmatched levels of finesse in the performances of the lead character and Judd Hirsch was the best actor to play the role.
The skilled actor has a career to flaunt with projects like Numb3rs, Taxi, I’m Not Rappaport, Conversations with My Father, and now Broadway’s ART under his belt.
A Numb3rs download reveals the standards of performance set by the actor in his role of Alan Eppes in the television series that brought him accolades from critics and viewers alike.
The play ART will be a treat for viewers with Hirsch, Procaccino and Stone coming together to weave a confident and comic on-stage presence, which will be powerful enough to reflect the characters in the light of their purpose.
The script has vivid portrayals of emotion outflow both in the situations and in the characters’ mind, and the fact that the characters can speak out both of them simply adds to the play’s charm.
Judd’s character in the play, Marc has been performed flawlessly with a strict inspection of the continuous flow of comic and dry one-liners at every stage.
The play witnessed a house full of audience that was awestruck and thrilled at the prospect to watch some of the finest of performances. Moments such as these come rarely and the crowd that loves Broadway understands this.

I am sure that after reading the title, you must be thinking: What compelled Peter MacNicol to change his profession? Is there any dearth of projects for him? And, why did he get into the business of election campaigning in the first place?

Hold on, guys! Before your mind wanders off in absurd directions, let me clarify that Peter is not going to manage any real election campaign. In fact, he will be seen as a campaign manager in a TV film called ‘Game Change’.
This upcoming film will be centered on John McCain’s 2008 presidential run. While Peter will put himself in the shoes of Rick Davis, the campaign manager of John McCain, actress Sarah Paulson will be seen in the shoes of the campaign adviser, Nicolle Wallace.
It’s true that Peter MacNicol has had the experience of experimenting with different kinds of roles. But the upcoming one is going to really keep him on his toes. Will he be able to bring in the real excitement in the character portrayal of Rick Davis?
I guess much of that would depend on how his co-stars portray their respective roles. The movie will have Ed Harris as John McCain, and Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin.
Fans love to catch Peter MacNicol’s performance as the physicist Larry Fleinhardt in Numb3rs episodes. His impeccable portrayal signifies the kind of talent that he has; all of which will come in handy in the upcoming movie.
He is perhaps one actor in the industry who is never satisfied until there is perfection in his acts. And that might be the reason why he has been roped in to play the role of a campaign manager.
‘Game Change’ will make its debut on HBO, and it remains to be seen whether the movie manages to surpass the popularity of the best-selling book of the same name.

I know you all are missing the show and its stars a lot!
And I know that you still watch Numb3rs online.
I do too!
And I guess, even the actors associated with Numb3rs series have realized that we miss them.
That’s the reason they make themselves present on screens, in one series, or the other.
One such star is Judd Hirsch, who has rolled up his sleeves to do some ‘damages’.
Oh chill!
Mr. Allan Eppes is not going to break anything; this is just the name of the show, he is gonna be a part of.
Yup! Judd Hirsch has grabbed a role in the TV series, ‘Damages’.
With that, he will hit the screen after a long time and his fans will have something new to download.
In the series Numb3rs, we all liked him in the character of Alan Eppes, the former L.A. city planner and father of Charlie and Done. Judd’s performance on the series was acclaimed globally, and now it’s time for him to try something new.
I know you must be curious about the role that he will play, but before that I would like to brief you about the show!
I hope you won’t mind that!
Well, I know you won’t!
‘Damages’ centers on an intelligent, but a cruel attorney, Patty Hewes, her corporation, Hewes & Associates, her clients, and Ellen Parsons, her protégé. The show revolves around Patty and Ellen, as they solve cases that come to the law firm.
So once again, Judd is set to play a role in a series, which more or less, deals with crime.
But, will he play a similar kind of role?
Let’s find out.
In the new series, he will execute the role of Patty Hewes’ adviser. He served as her counselor, when she grabbed her first job, after graduating. However, his drinking habit put an end to all this; but now, he is back in her life.
Hmmm, interesting!
It will be fun to see Judd in a new role, which is why; you and I need to catch Damages.
